Tasmanian pendant, Gold plated
In 1947 my grandmother Beryl came to Tasmania for her honeymoon
She brought herself a necklace, a pewter Tasmanian island shaped pendant.
When she passed away I was given a box of her jewellery, and the little island pendant was amongst the pieces.
Beryl never lived in Tasmania but many of her family now do, and live and breathe this beautiful Tasmania life.
I decided to make a version of her pendant for future young honeymooners, dreamers and lovers.
Our island home.
Gold plate chain and pendant, beautifully boxed.
